How We Compare Dating Apps

Swipe & Soul's editorial policy: official sources and dated prices, no testing claims, how apps are picked for lists, sponsored labels and how we handle corrections.

Prices and features

Every price and feature comes from the app’s official website, help center, terms or app store listing, with the date we checked it. When a price depends on age, location or promotion, we give the range or say we couldn’t confirm a single figure.

Research, not reviews

We don’t claim to have used apps for testing, matched with anyone or measured results. Any statistics come from named sources such as Pew Research Center.

Picking apps for lists

Each list states its criteria: who the app is built for, what’s free, what’s paid, safety features like photo verification and blocking, and availability in the US. Apps that don’t meet the criteria aren’t included.

Paid posts are labeled “Sponsored.” Paid links carry rel="sponsored nofollow". Partner spots are marked, and paying doesn’t move an app up a list.

Corrections

Prices change all the time. Email editorial@swipeandsoul.com with a source and we’ll update the page and note the date.
